You are welcome to extend your vacation as long as you please both before and after an expedition. However, you will be responsible for your own accommodations beyond the expedition.

Is the water safe to drink?
While the answer varies from expedition to expedition, it is generally best to play it safe in underdeveloped regions. Most restaurants and hotels we stay at will offer us bottled water to drink, and we will be sure to have bottled water when necessary.

What sort of food will we eat?
We will be dining at our favorite local restaurants and eateries, enjoying the best local cuisine. We encourage you to be open-minded and adventurous when it comes to trying new foods, but we will try and visit at least a few restaurants that offer a taste of home. We will also try our best to accommodate specific diets.

Are single rooms available?
Most of our accommodations will require you to share a room with another expedition traveler. However, single room options are available in most accommodations for an additional cost. Email us at info@argoadventuretours.com for more details.

Accommodations will vary from expedition to expedition, but we endeavor to stay in comfortable, local-owned lodgings. We take great care to choose the best villas, riads, and hotels based on cost, quality, amenities, and friendliness.
